Directorzone is a marketplace for growth companies that focuses on success stories, business requirements and ideas.

It maps this marketplace by profiling GRID companies and accelerators, their news and their opportunities.

GRID companies are business with strong GRowth, Innovation and /or Direction, with up to £300m annual turnover. Examples of companies that meet our critieria can be found in the Company Directory, Company News articles and List: GRID companies profiled on Directorzone.

Accelerators are organisations and individuals - in finance, advisory, government, academic, media and other sectors - that GRID companies depend on for support, advice and funding to succeed. Some larger businesses, that invest in GRID companies, are included in the Accelerators Directory.

The current beta test phase of the Directorzone web site is building its database of company and accelerator profiles plus news, aggregated from UK national media and other sources. News, profiles and market relationships will increasingly be linked together on the site, as the beginning of a dynamic market map.

This mapping mechanism will help thousands of GRID companies and directors to find market opportunities and to promote their roles and offerings.

The next phase – still in development - will allow companies and directors to update their own profiles, to publish articles - in areas such as: News, Wanted, Offered, Jobs, Events, Blogs and Meeting Requests – and to connect and communicate with other businesses through the site. Some of these publishing channels are anonymous in order to facilitate discretion and careful timing in the development of business relationships.

In the meantime, Directorzone will carry Jobs, Wanted, Offered and Meeting Request articles for interesting companies free of charge. Please use the Contact section to get in touch.

Cityzone - which ran business networking events, seminars, workshops and dinners for thousands of company directors, entrepreneurs, investors and advisers - changed its name to Directorzone Markets Ltd in 2016.
