Business Description
We're Higgidy and we make feel-good family food – big-flavoured, good-natured, crowd-pleasing dishes to plonk on the table and enjoy together.
Every ingredient in our kitchen comes from a farmer or supplier we know and trust. Chicken and eggs are always British and always free range. And all our beef is Red Tractor approved, a benchmark for animal welfare and traceability.
The cardboard in our packaging is certified sustainable by the FSC, and our plastic trays are 100% recycled (and recyclable).
Like all good cooks, we hate waste. Leftover food will only see a bin if it’s not safe to eat – and we make regular donations to our local food banks, such as the brilliant Fareshare.
We were founded by Camilla and her husband James, the business is led by their good friend Mark (who is family now, whether he likes it or not), and everything we do has the aim of making family life a bit less stressful and a bit more fun.
We put the same pride, energy and love into the things we make for Higgidy as we would, say, a Sunday lunch for our own family.
